These terms apply to the Voice2Sub website, downloads and desktop app. By using Voice2Sub, you agree to use the product responsibly and only process media you have the right to use.

1. The app

Voice2Sub is a desktop tool for creating AI subtitles, English subtitle output and transcripts from video and audio. Available builds may vary by operating system, hardware and release channel.

2. Your media and rights

You are responsible for the files you process. Do not use Voice2Sub for content you do not have rights to use, or in ways that violate privacy, copyright, platform rules or local laws.

3. Accuracy and review

Speech recognition and translation can make mistakes, especially with noise, accents, overlapping speakers, specialized terms, low-quality audio or unsupported language/file combinations. Review generated subtitles and text before publishing or relying on them for important work.

4. Downloads, compatibility and updates

Available builds, supported platforms, models, download links and payment methods may change over time. CUDA acceleration requires compatible NVIDIA hardware and drivers. Metal acceleration depends on supported Apple Silicon Macs. Some media files may fail if their codec, file structure, duration, size or audio quality is unsuitable. Some updates may be required for security, compatibility or license validation.

5. Payments and code delivery

If you make a payment through a Voice2Sub payment flow, prices, plan names, availability and payment methods may change. Activation codes or transaction messages are sent to the email address provided during payment. You are responsible for entering a valid email address and checking spam/junk folders. If you entered the wrong email, contact support with payment proof. Payment providers may apply their own terms.

6. Pro license and activation

Pro access is unlocked with a valid activation code or license key. The license may need to be activated, validated or deactivated through the internet. License keys are for the purchaser’s personal or internal use and may not be resold, shared publicly, sublicensed or used to provide unauthorized access to others.

7. License duration

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, the license period starts when the activation code/license key is issued after successful payment, not when you first open the app. A 1 Month, 6 Months or 1 Year plan expires at the end of the purchased period.

8. Device activation

Unless stated otherwise, one license may be active on one device at a time. You may need to deactivate the license on the old device before activating it on a new device. We may limit repeated activation/deactivation attempts to prevent abuse.

9. Unlimited use

“Unlimited” means the Pro version removes the Free version’s in-app conversion quota for supported local workflows during the active license period. It does not guarantee that every file, codec, file size, duration, hardware configuration, operating system, driver version, AI model or workflow will work without technical limits, errors or performance constraints.

10. Refunds

Because Voice2Sub Pro is a digital product delivered by activation code/license key, payments are generally non-refundable after a license key has been issued or activated. We may provide a refund at our discretion if the app cannot be activated or a confirmed technical issue prevents the app from working on a supported system and we cannot reasonably resolve it. Payment provider fees, bank fees, currency conversion fees or network fees may be non-refundable.

11. Acceptable use, fraud and abuse

Do not abuse website, payment or license flows, bypass access controls, interfere with the website or app, reverse engineer protected parts, share license keys publicly or send automated requests that harm availability. We may suspend, revoke or refuse activation of a license if a payment is refunded, reversed, charged back, reported as fraudulent, obtained through abuse or used in violation of these terms.

12. Third-party components and services

Voice2Sub may include or interact with third-party components and services such as FFmpeg, Whisper/whisper.cpp-based components, AI models, payment providers, Microsoft Store, Cloudflare, Firebase, Google Forms/Sheets, Hugging Face and CDN/infrastructure providers. Third-party terms and licenses may apply.

13. No warranty and limitation of liability

Voice2Sub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, compatibility with every file or system, or that generated subtitles/transcripts will be accurate enough for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected license.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the product, pricing, payment flow, licensing or website changes. The latest version will be posted on this page. For service questions, contact [email protected].
